PROJECT UNMEI

A project born from CSUF's VGDC game jam of 2012. It was a finalist in the 2013 Gamesig competition and it has evolved into a full scale video game production.

 

This game revolves round the principle of harmony. Here the people, the environment, and the stucture of the planet is being torn apart by strife. The objective of the main character is to bring the world back together again by finind peaceful solutions to its inhabitants. The main character (The Wanderer) was born from the wrath of a cruel god and the needle of destiny called UNMEI. His mission is to undo what the wicked god had wrought before he can wipe clean the world and begin anew.

 

Part of the uniqueness to this game is that there is no leveling up, no special attacks, and no enemies. However, there are plenty of hazzards that impede your path from the environment that will try to stop you at every turn to people who will make things difficult to continue on.. Will the Wanderer be able to bring this world back together? or will the cruel god complete his task and wipe clean the creatures of his own design?
